Key Definitions
Participant:
Person aged 6 months–65 years covered under this policy. Ages 66–70 require 100% extra contribution; 71–75: 150% extra; 76–80: 200% extra.
Pre-existing Condition:
Any condition treated in the 2 years before departure or hospitalized within the 5 years before departure.
Injury:
A sudden, unexpected, external event causing bodily injury.
Sickness:
Illness contracted and diagnosed while the policy is active.
Emergency Hospitalization:
Immediate hospital admission due to a sudden condition requiring urgent treatment.
Hospitalization:
Admission to a licensed hospital for at least 24 hours.
Emergency Evacuation:
Transport to nearest hospital or back to Pakistan.
Medically Necessary:
Treatment consistent with diagnosis and accepted standards.
Deductible / Excess:
Amount you pay first.
Sum Cover:
Maximum payout per benefit.
Effective & End Date:
30-day coverage period will start from the exact time of bundle purchase.
Accidental Death & Dismemberment:
Pays for loss of life or major body parts.
Permanent Total Disability:
Pays if unable to work for 12 months due to accident.
Emergency Return Home:
Covers airfare back to Pakistan for family emergency.
Emergency Dental:
Covers urgent dental pain treatment only.
Flight Delay:
Pays if flight delayed 8+ hours.
Territory:
Worldwide except restricted countries.
Baggage Loss and Delay:
Covers lost/stolen or delayed baggage.
Trip Cancellation / Interruption:
Covers prepaid trip costs if cancelled.
Mobile Theft:
Covers theft with forced entry.
Personal Money:
Covers lost or stolen cash and equivalents.
Travel Documents:
Covers loss of passport, visa, tickets.

As per Travel Takaful PMD.

Claim payment:
Claims paid in Pakistan in PKR after proof.
Cancellation of Policy and Disputes Arbitration
  • Possible before the departure date. Requires original contract, passport verification, visa rejection letter and copy of CNIC. No refund if visa was already issued or travel has already taken place. Disputes Arbitration
  • Claim amount disputes settled via arbitration under Pakistan’s Arbitration Act. If liability is denied entirely, matter goes to Pakistani courts.
  • Customers can request insurance policy deactivation within 24 hours of purchase by contacting helpline. However, there is no refund mechanism involved.
Claim Requirement:
Written notice within 7 days with proof.
