Terms & Conditions:

Premium Payment & Claim Amount

  • Continuous Payment for 2 months: Rs. 1,000
  • Continuous Payment for 3 months: Rs. 2,500
  • Continuous Payment for 4 months: Rs. 4,000
  • Continuous Payment from 5th to 9th month: Rs. 5,000
  • Continuous Payment from 10th to 12th month (Till expiry of insurance): Rs. 10,000

Claim Benefit: Claim will be settled on the basis of market value of screen of the same make & model at the time of damage or up to Rs. 10,000/- whichever is lower as per eligible limit.

Period of insurance: One year from the date of subscription subject to continued payment without gap.

Type of insurance cover: Accidental and/or Physical Damage to screen that render the operation of cell phone difficult, maximum up to Rs. 10,000.

Reversals and Cancellations: There is no reversals in this particular mobile screen insurance plan. The only payment to be reversed (if) customer after first deduction, in next 7 working days fails to share complete/correct details with TPL Insurance for policy issuance. This issued policy can be cancelled within 15 days from either party side, with no refunds.

Waiting Period: Waiting period of 30 days will apply in case of self-registration. In case of claim within first 30 days, customer would not be eligible for claim.

Auto-Debit: For this mobile screen insurance daily payment plan, Easypaisa would auto-debit the payment every day, as shown to customer in price plan.

At the time of claim, the remaining policy due amount to insurance company (if any) will be deducted at the time of claim settlement

Eligibility of Claim Submission:

Customer/Insured can submit claim within 15 days from date of discontinuation and/or damage to mobile screen.

How Can I get enrolled Mobile Screen Insurance (MSI)?

  • You must have Easypaisa M-Account or Easypaisa App user:
    • To avail this product dial *786*4*5*number# from your Telenor number or download EP App on your mobile phone.
  • After payment via USSD or Easypaisa App:
    • WhatsApp following information to Mobile Screen Damage Insurance on 0347-7003737:
  • Insured CNIC number
  • Easypaisa Account Number
  • Contact Detail of Insured customer
  • Snapshot of Mobile with IMEI number
  • Name of Insured/Customer
    • After evaluation of your documents by underwriting, will you be eligible for insurance
    • However, you will be eligible to claim after 30 days waiting period from the date of your insurance.
  • Customer to share information with TPL Insurance on WhatsApp 0347-7003737 within 7 days of subscription. Failure to do so will result in policy discontinuation. Amount deducted will be refunded back to customer account.

How to check IMEI number?

  • By Dialing *#06# on your mobile dial pad.
  • The IMEI number of the device is always printed on the box and device.
  • Hold your phone, Go to settings > about phone > Status > IMEI Information to extract the IMEI number.

How many mobile screen insurance policies can I purchase at one time?

  • One mobile screen insurance policy to be purchased/issued for each CNIC/Mobile Wallet. Only one claim is eligible within 12 months for each CNIC/Mobile Wallet.

How much premium do I have to pay?

  • You will pay Rupee 1 per day which will be deducted from your mobile balance account. Maximum deduction for one year policy is Rs. 365

What will be the Insurance Period?

  • This Insurance period is for one year subject to continue payment of Rs. 1 per day. In case your per day payment discontinued for more than 15 days, your insurance will be automatically discontinued.

What would happen if I am not able to continue per day payment?

  • If remaining per day payments are made within 15 days, then insurance will be continued, however repayment after 30 days will be considered as a new subscription

What would happen when my Insurance is discontinued?

  • You should make new subscription and maintain continue per day 1 rupee transaction to continue your insurance again.

What happens when my mobile screen insurance is discontinued due to consecutive non-payment over 15 days?

  • No refund will be made. However, you will be eligible for claim (if any) for duration till last payment was made. Claim should be submitted within 15 days from the date of last payment discontinued.

How long will it take for my claim to be processed?

  • TPL Insurance will assess your claim within 3 working days after receiving required supporting documentation. In case of not submitting proper claim form and other supporting documents, your claim processing may be delayed.

How do I get my claim paid?

  • Claim will be paid to your Mobile account number within 10 working days from the date of complete claim documents/information is shared with TPL Insurance.

Is my family’s phone also covered in this mobile screen insurance policy?

  • No, only Easypaisa customer’s phone will be insured.

Can I submit claim in case of wear and tear or any damage to my phone?

  • Only loss of Mobile Screen Damage is covered under this insurance.

How many days do I have to file a claim for Screen Damage of my phone?

Can I submit a claim in case I lost my phone?

  • No, only loss of Mobile Damage Screen is covered. Please read Terms and Conditions.

Which makes and models of mobile phones are covered?

  • All makes and models of smartphones purchased within Pakistan are covered.

Is there a limit on the number of claims I can make?

  • Yes, a customer can make one claim in 12 months within a policy period.

Do I need a proof of purchase if I make a claim?

  • No, however, you need to provide ‘Invoice of Replacement’ of damaged screen while raising a claim request

Does my policy remain continued if I get claim of Screen Damage of my mobile set?

  • No, your policy will immediately discontinue after receiving the claim.

Is liquid leakage in mobile screen also covered in mobile screen damage?

  • Since the liquid leakage is damage to screen. This is covered in mobile screen policy.

Do I need computerized/printed or hand written/manual screen replacement invoice at the time of raising a claim?

  • Any invoice that is either computerized/printed or manual/handwritten is acceptable as long as it shows valid shop details.

Can I purchase another mobile screen insurance policy ‘after’ receiving my first Claim within 12 months?

  • No, unfortunately you ‘cannot’ purchase another policy till the completion of 12 months from the effective date of policy, against which claim is received.
    • For example, you have purchased policy on January 01, and you are continuously paying per day premium. Unfortunately, your mobile screen got damaged and you reported a claim in April and a claim settlement was paid to you. In this case, you have received claim in 4th month of your policy period and 8 months remain to expire the policy on which you have received claim. Therefore, you have to wait 8 months (till December) to purchase new policy. You can purchase a new ‘mobile screen Insurance’ policy starting January 01 of next year.

Can I continue current mobile screen insurance policy once 12 months period end, while I have not raised any claim request?

  • No, unfortunately you ‘cannot’ continue current policy after 12 months, in case of a ‘claim request’ or ‘no claim request’. New policy to start and is based on Rs. 1 per day deduction with same insurance benefit slabs. However, waiting period of 30 days will not be applicable.To start a new policy after 12 months, please WhatsApp TPL Insurance the following details on 0347-7003737 after making payment via easypaisa App or USSD menu.

    • Contact Detail of Insured customer

Can I get full amount of claim or any deduction will be applied?

      • You are continuously paying per day premium deduction till 4 months without gap say, from January 01 to April 30 (You have paid total Rs. 120/=)
      • Unfortunately, you got your mobile screen damaged on May 01 and reported a claim by providing all necessary information/documents as mentioned in point # 12 above.
      • You have replaced your damaged screen, for example, for Rs. 4,500 and provided Replacement Invoice.
      • As per table above, you will be eligible for claim of Rs. 3,755/= as per the below calculation:You will get the claim as per the following slab:
      • Payment of Premium Coverage/Claim Amount
        Continuous Payment for 2 months Up to Rs. 1,000
        Continuous Payment for  3 months Up to Rs. 2,500
        Continuous Payment for  4 months Up to Rs. 4,000

      • Claim amount payable as per table: Rs. 4,000.00
